This is the last of my Crash'n'Bash stuff for sale after a motorbike accident over 2 years ago. I've held on to it hoping to get back but the doctor won't give me clearance so I've decided to sell up.
The car is a Cortina wagon which was built to race standards at Geelong. Car is now located at Rawson, 30 mins from Moe. I bought it a year ago pre raced to clean up to return to Crash'n'Bash, but as I said: doc says no. It had some head work done but I don't know exactly what was done. It also has what the bloke I bought it off described as the biggest cam that the standards allow as well as being bored out 30 thou. It's neat and all straight, looks like new but it has a bit of bog in it to get it there. The rollcage is great and it has 2 seats. It comes with a few spares: door skins, tyres, steering bits and pieces and whatever else I can scratch up.
What it needs is harnesses and window nets. That would be it unless the rules have changed since I've been out of the game.

The trailer is registered to 3000kg and weighs about 580, so you can carry 2420kg on top as long as the tow vehicle can take it legally. My Landcruiser goes onto the trailer no worries, which means it will take the heaviest race car loaded right up with spares and fuel and all the bits and pieces.
I built the trailer as light as I could so I could carry as much weight as possible because I was racing a V8 Falcon at the time so it doesn't have a floor, just rails for the car to run on, but would be very easy to add a floor if you wanted. Just get some plate steel, drop it on top and weld or bolt it on. Job done. It's also beavered at the back to help loading on and off. The ramps slide under the trailer body but on top of the beaver back.
Rego for the trailer is paid untill 05 September 2010 (I just paid next years rego) and only costs $36.70 a year.

So if you've wanted to get into Crash'n'Bash but didn't know how or want to freshen up with a new car, here's your chance to drive away with a full package. Just add harnesses and window nets, put on your racing clothes and start racing as soon as the season starts. Either that or you could talk to your local track about standards. I don't know anything about them because I only ever raced C'n'B, but the car was built to race standards originally.
Phone Brad Mitchell on 03 51 653 117
$3,500 will buy the trailer.
$1,500 gets the car.
